Your ERP is merely a transactional system. It doesn’t force actions when things go wrong. You kept the scenarios in mind. You implemented it too. Why is the Production taking this long to complete? An important input material was a misfit in the BOM. This was known after the production order was ‘released’. It was reported to the vendor. But nothing happened in 21 days. Who needs to act?
